Writing Again.

So amidst the revelry that is December and the depression that is January, I somehow found a new writing voice. It is nice to be writing again, to be creating something other than folded laundry and mopped floors.

February is looking to be a nicer month. Maybe a little warmer, a lot greener and lots and lots of sweet oranges from the tree.

So I write a thousand words a day with my new voice and keep going. One word, sentence, paragraph at a time. Eventually I'll have a whole book. Right?

How bout you? Are you writing or cleaning or working or just living. Tell me what you're working on.

  1. I'm so glad you found your inner writer in these bleak months. Right now I'm busy waiting. Lots and lots of waiting. Which means cleaning and reading and trying to stop myself from drafting another novel, because seriously, I'm not that crazy. Much.

  2. Cleaning is good. It is overrated sometimes, but I enjoy the process and the product. Good luck with your waiting. Read lots of good books.

  3. I wondered how you were doing. Good to hear you're writing again. And you're definitely right about cleaning being overrated :-)

  6. You will absolutely have a book eventually if you do 1,000 words a day. It doesn't take that long at that rate! That's how I write these days. :) I hope February is wonderful for you!

    1. That's what I keep hoping! 1,000 words ends up being very manageable for me. Any more than that and I stress out. And yes, I'm hoping February will be good too!

Thanks for the cheer leading everyone!
